Justin Mezzell — If I’m looking to get fired up, I can always count on either a.) politics or b.) Run the Jewels. Consistently banging out 3 solid records of fist-pumping resistance anthems, their latest couldn’t hit at a more appropriate time state-side. Blockbuster Night Part 1 was a standout for me on RTJ2; one that’s littered a number of my more rallying playlists. It’s become something of a signaling siren for a heads-down knockout session fueled by cutting hooks and righteous ire.
